Privacy policy / Updated 9 October 2026
Your data. Your device.
- The apps collect nothing. What you make stays on your devices and in your own iCloud.
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Nothing is ever sold.
- This website counts visits without cookies, and you can switch that off.
- If you write to us, what you send is used only to reply.
Who we are
Silver Apple Studios is the trading name of Silver Apple Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company no. 10772260. Registered office: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, United Kingdom. We decide how the little data described here is used, which makes us its controller under UK data protection law. Write to us at hello@silverapplestudios.com.
The apps
Our apps do not collect personal data. What you make in them stays on your devices, and in your own iCloud where an app syncs. We have no servers that could receive it, and no way to see it.
Do-Confirm
- Your checklists, runs and history are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. The widgets and Live Activity read them on the same device.
- The app does not go online, except to check your purchase with Apple. Nothing you write is sent to us or to anyone else.
- Reminders are notifications your device schedules itself. Do-Confirm asks permission to send them only when you turn a reminder on.
- Deleting the app deletes everything in it.
Innermost
- Your vault lives in your own iCloud, so your Mac, iPhone and iPad can share it. Innermost needs iCloud to work.
- Everything you write, and every picture and PDF you keep with it, is encrypted on your device before it is saved (XChaCha20-Poly1305, with a key made from your password by Argon2id).
- Apple stores the files but cannot read them, and neither can we. iCloud can see that they exist, when they were written, how big they are and which kinds of device wrote them, never what is in them.
- There is no account and no server of ours. Innermost never sends your writing to us or to anyone else.
- When you set up, you get a recovery key. Your password or that key opens the vault; nobody else can, including us and Apple. Lose both and the vault cannot be opened.
- If you turn on Face ID or Touch ID, a key is kept in your device's keychain and released only by your face or finger. Your password is never stored.
- Burn deletes something for good, on every device once they sync. On the Mac, Burn everything deletes the whole vault, and Export writes plain, unencrypted copies to a folder you choose.
- Deleting the app leaves your vault in your iCloud. To remove it, delete Innermost's data in your iCloud settings.
Purchases
Purchases in our App Store apps are made through Apple. Apple handles the payment and does not pass us your name, email address or payment details. We see sales totals only.
Crash reports
If you choose to share analytics with app developers (in your device's Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements), Apple sends us crash reports and usage figures that do not identify you. We use them only to fix bugs. You can switch this off at any time in the same place.
This website
This site sets no cookies. Its fonts are served from this site itself, so loading a page does not tell any other company you are here.
Counting visits
To see which pages help people, we count visits with SnipForm Signals, which works without cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each visit it records the pages you view, how long you stay and how far you scroll, the site or link that brought you here, your type of device and screen size, and your approximate location, worked out from your IP address. It is not used for advertising and does not follow you to other sites.

Hosting
Cloudflare hosts this site. To deliver pages and block attacks it sees your IP address and the pages you ask for. We do not keep access logs of our own.
Messages you send us
The support forms on this site are run by SnipForm. They send us what you type (your email address, your message, and the app, topic and device you pick), the page you sent it from, and a few signals that tell a person from a bot, such as how long the form took to fill in. SnipForm links your message to that visit's page views, so we can see where you came from. Emails you send us reach us through our email provider.
We use all of this only to answer you and to fix what you report. We never add you to a mailing list, and never sell or share what you send.
How long we keep it
- Support messages and emails: for as long as it takes to help you, then deleted within 12 months of the last reply.
- Visit counts: up to 2 years, then deleted.
- What you create in the apps: never with us. It stays on your devices (and your own iCloud, where an app syncs) until you delete it.
Why we are allowed to
UK data protection law asks us to say. We answer your messages because you asked us to, and count visits and keep this site safe because we have a legitimate interest in running a useful, secure website, in ways that do not identify you or affect you.
Who else handles it
- Apple, for the App Store, purchases, iCloud and crash reports.
- SnipForm, for the support forms and counting visits.
- Cloudflare, for hosting this website.
- Our email provider, for email you send us.
They handle it only to provide their service to us, and must protect it at least as well as this policy does. Some of them work outside the UK; where they do, the transfer is covered by safeguards UK law recognises.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to hello@silverapplestudios.com and we will reply within a month.
- You can stop visits being counted with the switch above, and stop crash reports in your device's Settings.
- What you create in the apps never reaches us, so we cannot see, export or delete it for you. You can: delete it in the app, or delete the app, and remove an app's iCloud data in Settings, under your name, then iCloud.
- If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
Our apps are suitable for all ages and collect nothing from anyone, children included. If you are under 13, ask a parent or guardian before you write to us.
Changes
If anything here changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If an app changes what it does with your data, its release notes will say so too.
